Join us the night before 2019’s The Ed Martin Memorial Classic for a doubleheader of non-traditional cornhole events: Cornhole Boxing followed by a WCCC Rumble, sponsored by Jasmine’s Famous Roast Beef & Seafood & Pizza! And, for the first time, a Friday night event will be held OUTSIDE with our 4 court setup!

Rules for Cornhole Boxing:

– Entry fee is $10

– A match is 10 rounds, and the player who outscores their opponent in a round wins the round.

– At the end of 10 rounds, whoever has won the most rounds is the winner.

– If a player outscores an opponent by 7 or more points in any round, then the match ends by knockout regardless of what the round score is.

– The finals are 12 round matches.

Again, this is a singles tournament, and is straight double elimination.

Rules for the WCCC Rumble:

This is a $10/person singles cornhole version of WWE’s Royal Rumble! Every competitor will have their name written on a ticket and put in a bucket. The first name drawn will get to pick a side of the board. The second name drawn will start on the other side. Two rounds of bags will be thrown, and the winner stays on the boards, and the loser eliminated. The next name is immediately drawn, and the process repeated until everyone has been drawn and thrown. The prize pool will be divided equally between the person who survives until the end and the person who eliminates the most players. Any ties will be broken with a throwoff.

Once a player has taken their place at the boards, they cannot leave for any reason or they will be eliminated, and there are no breaks between matchups. Players called to play must be at the board ready to go within one minute of being called or they will be eliminated.

This is the biggest weekend of the year for the WCCC – let’s make it one to remember!
